Summary
Kruirad is a windmill miller simulation that runs entirely on your iPhone or iPad. It has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and it makes no network requests of any kind. Everything the app remembers about your shifts, orders and mill lives only on the device you play it on.
What Kruirad stores, and where
- Your game ledger — shifts played, orders accepted, coins earned, reputation and the wear on each mill part — saved as a file in the app's Application Support folder.
- Your settings — sound, music, haptics and appearance preferences — saved in the app's on-device settings (UserDefaults).
- Postcards you create — silhouette images you make from your own photographs — saved as image files in the app's Documents folder.
None of this is uploaded, synced or shared with anyone, including us. If you delete Kruirad, this data is deleted with it.
Camera and photo library
Kruirad asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to add a photo to your Molenalbum. The photo you pick or take is processed entirely on your device to produce a silhouette postcard; it is never uploaded anywhere. If you use the share sheet to save a postcard back to your Photos library, that save happens through Apple's own share sheet, under your control.
Notifications
Kruirad can schedule a single local notification reminding you that a new day's wind is ready at the mill. This notification is created and delivered entirely on your device; it does not involve any remote server, and it is only scheduled after you grant permission and choose to turn it on.
No tracking, no advertising, no third parties
Kruirad contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, no third-party libraries, and no tracking of any kind, whether for advertising purposes or otherwise. It does not link data to your identity, and it cannot, because it never leaves your device.
Children's privacy
Kruirad does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Data deletion
Because everything is stored on your device, you are always in full control of it. Kruirad's Settings screen offers a reset option that erases your saved game, and uninstalling the app removes every trace of its data from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
